Praise be to Allah. Blessings and greetings may shed to the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions.
Friday was a glorious day. Evidence of glory, God ordained some big events for the day. And also there are some acts of worship that is devoted to the night and during the day, especially following Friday prayers implementation deeds that go with it.
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:
إن من أفضل أيامكم يوم الجمعة فيه خلق آدم وفيه قبض وفيه النفخة وفيه الصعقة
"Surely among the most Afdhal your day is Friday. On that day Adam was created and diwafatkan, and on that day the trumpet is blown and it will happen all the creature's death...." (Narrated by Abu Dawood, an Nasai, Ibn Majah, Ahmad, and al Hakim of the hadith Aus ibn Aus)
Special Charity Day Friday
Basically, it is not allowed certain religious specialize on Friday night and during the day, in the form of prayers, recitations, fasting and other charities that do not usually done on any other days. Unless, there are special arguments that ordered it. This is based on the hadith of Abu Hurairah radliyallaahu 'anhu, that Prophet shallallaahu' alaihi wasallam said;
لا تخصوا ليلة الجمعة بقيام من بين الليالي, ولا تخصوا يوم الجمعة بصيام من بين الأيام, إلا أن يكون في صوم يصومه أحدكم
"Do not specialize Friday night for the prayer of the other nights, and do not specialize daytime fasting from Friday to work on other days, except to coincide with the usual fasting done by one of you." (Narrated by Muslim , al-Nasai, al-Bayhaqi, and Ahmad)
Read Surat Al-Kahf
One of the special worship the privileged implementation on Friday was reading surah Al-Kahf. Here we mention some saheeh theorem which states that command and preferment.
1. From Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri radliyallahu 'anhu, the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wasallam said:
من قرأ سورة الكهف ليلة الجمعة أضاء له من النور فيما بينه وبين البيت العتيق
"Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday night, then the emitted light for him as far as between himself he and Baitul 'Atiq." (Sunan Ad-Darimi, no. 3273. Also narrated by al-Nasai and Al-Hakim and dishahihkan by Al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targhib wa al-Tarhib, no. 736)
2. In another narration was from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri radi 'anhu,
من قرأ سورة الكهف في يوم الجمعة أضآء له من النور ما بين الجمعتين
"Whoever reads surat Al-Kahf on Friday, it will be emitted light for him between the two Fridays." (Narrated by al-Hakim: 2 / 368 and Al-Bayhaqi: 3 / 249. Ibn Hajar commented on this hadith in al-Adzkar Takhrij, "hasan hadeeth." He stated that this hadith is the most powerful word about surat Al-Kahf. Shaykh Al-Albani in Saheeh al-menshahihkannya Jami ', no. 6470)
3. From Ibn 'Umar radi' anhuma, said: The Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:
من قرأ سورة الكهف في يوم الجمعة سطع له نور من تحت قدمه إلى عنان السماء يضيء له يوم القيامة وغفر له ما بين الجمعتين
"Anyone who read surat Al-Kahf on Friday, it will radiate light from under his feet up to the sky, will be illuminated later on the Day of Resurrection, and his sins forgiven between the two Fridays."
Al-Mundziri said: This hadeeth narrated by Abu Bakr bin Mardawaih in his commentary with isnads that it's okay. (From the book of at-Targhib wa al-Tarhib: 1 / 298) "
When to Read?
Sunnah Al-Kahf read a letter on Friday night or on days Jum'atnya. And starting Friday night from sundown on Thursday. This opportunity lasts until sundown on the day Jum'atnya. From this it can be concluded that the opportunity to read surah Al-Kahf is from sundown on Thursday evening until sundown on Friday.
Imam Al-Shafi'i in Al-Umm rahimahullah stated that al-Kahf read the letter can be performed on Friday night and lunch on the basis of history about it. (Al-Umm, Imam al-Shafi'i: 1 / 237).
On this, Ibn Hajar al-Hafidzh rahimahullaah revealed in his Amali: So there are narrations that use the word "day" or "night" Friday. Then it can be concluded that the definition of "day" including the night. Vice versa, "night" is a Friday night and noon. (See: Faidh al-Qadir: 6 / 199).
Dr. Muhammad Bakr Isma'il on Al-Fiqh al Wadhih min al-Sunnah wa al book mentions that among the deeds that are recommended for work on Friday night and was reading the letter al-Kahf on the basis of the above hadith. (Al-Fiqhul Wadhih minal was Sunnah Book, p. 241).
Reading virtue Surat Al-Kahf on Friday
From some of the above history, that the reward prepared for those who read surat Al-Kahf on Friday night or in the afternoon will be given a light (irradiated). And light is given on the day of Judgement, which extends from below his feet up to the sky. And this shows the long distance light given to him, as the word of Allah, the Exalted:
يوم ترى المؤمنين والمؤمنات يسعى نورهم بين أيديهم وبأيمانهم
"The day when you see the believers men and women, while their light shine before them and on their right." (Surat al-Hadid: 12)
The second reply to the person who read surat Al-Kahf on Friday in the form of forgiveness of sin between two Friday. And perhaps this is the intention of irradiated between two Friday. Because nurr (light) obedience will eliminate the darkness of sin, such as the word of Allah, the Exalted:
إن الحسنات يذهبن السيئات
"Verily, good deeds were abolished (sin) bad deeds." (Surah Hud: 114)
Surat Al-Kahf and Slander Dajjal
Another benefit of Al-Kahf described the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam is to ward off fitnah of Dajjal. That is by reading and memorizing a few verses from surat Al-Kahf. Some history explains the first ten, some information again last ten verses.
Imam Muslim narrated from the hadeeth of al-Nawas ibn Sam'an long enough, that in the history of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said, "So whoever among you who find it (find the time of the Antichrist), should he read them the verses of the beginning of the letter al-Kahf. "
In another report narrated by Muslim, from Abu Darda 'radi' anhu, that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said, "Anyone who read ten verses from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf, he is protected from the Dajjal." Namely from the hurly-haranya.
Imam Muslim said, Shucba said, "From the end of Surat al-Kahf." And Hammam said, "From the beginning of Surat al-Kahf." (Saheeh Muslim, Kitab al-Mufassirin Shalah, Chapter; Fadhlu Surah al-Kahf wa Aayah al-Chairs: 6/92-93)
Imam Nawawi said, "Why, because at the beginning of Surat al-Kahf the artifacts / contain the wonders and the signs of Allah. So people who are contemplating not be deceived by the Antichrist slander. Similarly, in the end, that is the word of God:
أفحسب الذين كفروا أن يتخذوا عبادي من دوني أولياء
"So if those who disbelieve think that they (can) take my servants be a helper besides me? . . . "QS. Al-Kahf: 102. (See Sharh Muslim Imam Nawawi's: 6 / 93)

From the explanations above, it is sensible for every Muslim to have the willpower to read surah Al-Kahf and memorize it and repeat-repeated. Especially on the day the most good and noble, namely Friday. Ta'aa Allaah knows best.
